“Go On” – Part 2

Exodus 17:1-6 KJV
And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the Lord, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink. Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the Lord? And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst? And Moses cried unto the Lord, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me. And the Lord said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go. Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
Moses did the right thing by asking the Lord, “what shall I do?” The reply from the Lord was “go on”.
I encourage everyone receiving this message to ask one question of the Lord today, “What shall I do?”
The Lord undoubtedly will reply, “go on…continue the journey I have started you on … I have a destiny for you.”

“But I’ve got problems, issues, and troubles”… ask Jesus, “what shall I do?”
“But I’ve had these problems, issues, and troubles for so long”… ask Jesus, “what shall I do?”

Sometimes we perceive our problems, issues, and troubles as unchangeable, unmovable roadblocks that absolutely forbid us from making spiritual progress. And our own hearts and minds (and the devil) will tell us that we cannot change, that we are different from everyone else, our situations cannot be resolved or fixed, the obstacles we face will never be removed, and we will never get to our healing, our blessing, our answer. But the Word says… if we will ask the Lord a question,
“what shall I do?”…the Lord will tell us to “go on”. Not only will He tell us to “go on”; His promise will be, “I’ll go before you and I’ll make a way where there seems to be no way.”

Come on child of faith, child of God … don’t sit there without making progress in your pursuit of God. You could have a change today…If you want change. We must not “baby” our issues. It’s time to get over the disappointments of the past and go on.

You’ve started this journey of faith and don’t think you can make it … go on.
Temptations bombarding you day and night… go on.
Former addictions calling your name…go on.
The world of sin is luring you back… go on … the Lord says, “go on.” He didn’t bring you this far for you to get “stuck”.
He didn’t bring you this far for you to go back to bondage… go on.

He brought you out to bring you in.
He will finish what He started in you.
His Word will never fail.
He will never leave you or forsake you.
Leave your failures behind and go on.
Your future is in good hands with God… go on.
Don’t be afraid… trust Him and go on.

Young person… don’t stop your pursuit of God… go on.
New convert… don’t hesitate… go on.
For the person who has not yet made a commitment to God… go on…. ask Him to save you today.
For the person who knows deep in your heart that you need to repent and change your way … go on.
For the person who has repented of sin… go on… go on to water baptism in the name of Jesus.
For the person who desires the baptism of the Holy Ghost… go on… ask the Lord, “what shall I do?” He will tell you … go on.

For the person who needs a miracle… go on… ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and it shall be opened to you.

If you have become stagnant in your spirit, paused in your pursuit, delayed or detoured in your devotion, or distracted
from spiritual growth… get up, get after the Spirit, and go on.

The promise is yours. The Lord will go before you. He is the Waymaker. He is the mountain mover. He is the life-changer.
So you’ve fallen… get up… and go on.
You’ve sinned… repent… and go on.
You’ve failed… let God restore you… then go on.

“Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness,
the Lord shall be a light unto me.” Micah 7:8

Go on.
Go on into the destiny that the Lord has planned for you.
Go on to fulfill the future He has for you.
