Apostolic Life celebrated the wonderful story of Christmas with our annual Christmas Candlelight Service on December 23, 2014. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the warm atmosphere and intimate setting. The worship team did a phenomenal job setting the tone with music, media presentations and set design. We rejoiced together as we remembered the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, with Christmas carols and hymns and a message from Senior Pastor D.L. Rogers (“No Room For Jesus”). The evening was capped off with a beautiful candle lighting ceremony that filled our hearts with Christmas spirit.
The 2014 New Year’s Eve Service and Party was the the best in recent memory. Again, the Creative Arts team outdid themselves with the setup, planning and presentation. The Worship Team presented a “best of the year” set list that included many of our new favorite songs. Many members testified of God’s provisions throughout the year of 2014. As we looked back, we could see that God has truly blessed the congregation of Apostolic Life. Associate Pastor Randy Brown delivered a word that inspired us as we looked to the coming new year (“Don’t Let Your Torch Go Out”).
After the service concluded, we rang in the new year with food, fun and fellowship. The Talent Show was a huge success with many acts presented. Songs, skits, scripture recitations, games…even a surprise performance by the Lifeline-connect brothers. The night was a lot of fun and we look forward to next year’s celebration.
Special thanks to the Creative Arts team and anyone involved with the planning, preparation and execution of the Holiday Worship Events. Your hard work and dedication makes it possible for the people of Apostolic Life to enjoy unique experiences in new and exciting ways.
